South Dakota Match Play: Carlson, Rachetto to play in finals
DAKOTA DUNES, SD (July 9, 2011) -- Tom Carlson of Sioux Falls and Tyler Rachetto of Rapid City will meet in the 36-hole final Sunday in the SDGA Match Play Championship at Moccasin Creek Country Club in Aberdeen.
Carlson, a two-time winner of the championship, defeated defending champion Nolan Meyer of Sioux Falls 2 and 1 in the first semifinal match Saturday afternoon.
Rachetto, who teamed with Tyler Evenson last month to win the SDGA Two-Man Championship, beat Travis Johnson of Aberdeen in 20 holes in the second semifinal.
The 36-hole final match begins Sunday at 7:30 a.m.

Players must be 14 years of age by the first day of
competition. Non-exempt players must qualify.
There will be an 18-hole
stroke play round to determine the 96-player field
for the match-play portion of the Championship.Top
