Miles Russell, Lev Grinberg lead South Beach International at the halfway mark

For the second year in a row, standout junior golfer
Miles Russell leads the South Beach International Amateur at Miami Beach Golf Club and Normandy Shores Golf Course in Miami, Fla.
Last year, Russell finished T2 behind Ben James. However, he did set the course record with a second-round 10-under 60 at Normandy Shores in 2023.
This year, Russell is 10-under and tied with Lev Grinberg of Ukraine for the 36-hole lead. Adam Bresnu of Morocco, Henry Guan, and Drew Wilson are T3 at 9-under and just one shot off the lead.
Russell has shot rounds of 63-68 to get to 10-under, while Grinberg has shot rounds of 66-65 to get to 10-under.
Collins Trolio, Alex Heffner, Byungho Lee, and Michael Mays are all T6 at 8-under. 36 golfers are within five shots of the lead.

As the reigning Rolex Junior Player of the Year, Miles Russell of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, will receive an exemption into the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship. The 15-year-old earned the 2023 Rolex Player of the Year award after an outstanding season that included three AJGA victories.
