Team Woods shot a first-round 3-under 59 to co-lead the 2024 PNC Championship at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Fla., along with Team Singh and Team Langer.

Tiger and Charlie, who played in the 2024 U.S. Junior Amateur, recorded 13 birdies and no bogeys in the scramble format. They birdied holes No. 1, 2. and 3 to get off to a hot start and then birdied holes No. 12 through 16 and No. 18 to get to 13-under for the round.

Team Langer and Team Singh are the past two winners of the event, with Bernard and Jason Langer winning in 2023 and Vijay and Qass Singh winning in 2022. Team Langer also won in 2014 and 2019.

The PNC Championship is a unique event that pairs major golf champions with family members, often their children, in a 36-hole scramble format. The 2024 edition, scheduled for December 19th to 22nd at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, features several notable amateur participants.

Charlie Woods (Age 15)

Woods, the son of 15-time major winner Tiger Woods, has been in the spotlight for his impressive golfing skills from a young age. In June 2024, he qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship after winning a qualifier with a score of 71. He missed the cut at the championship. Charlie has also competed alongside his father in the PNC Championship since 2020, with their best finish being second place in 2021.

John Daly II (Age 21)

The youngest Daly, son of John Daly, is a collegiate golfer at the University of Arkansas. He qualified for the U.S. Amateur and made his Korn Ferry Tour debut last year. Daly II has partnered with his father in the PNC Championship since 2018, and the duo won the championship in 2021.

Carson Kuchar (Age 15)

Matt Kuchar's younger son, Carson, returns for the 2024 event after he first participated in the PNC Championship in 2022.

Jason Langer (Age 24)

Langer, son of Bernhard Langer, has a strong record in the PNC Championship, with victories in 2014, 2019, and 2023. Jason is a University of Pennsylvania alum.

Connor Cink (Age 31)

Cink, son of Stewart Cink, has a history with the PNC Championship. He won the event with his father in 2013. Both Connor and his brother Reagan have caddied for their father, with Reagan on the bag during Stewart's 2021 RBC Heritage victory. The Cink family often rotates partners for the PNC, with Connor participating in even-numbered years.

Qass Singh (Age 32)

Qass Singh, son of Vijay Singh, has been a part of the PNC Championship since 2004. He achieved a notable victory with his father in 2022. Qass has also caddied for Vijay during events like The Masters in 2012 and 2013 and on the PGA Tour Champions in 2024.

Will McGee (Age 13)

Will McGee, son of Annika Sörenstam, is making his third appearance in the PNC Championship. A left-handed golfer, Will has expressed his enthusiasm for the event, describing it as "the best week of my year and life."

Izzi Stricker (Age 19)

Izzi Stricker, daughter of Steve Stricker, is a freshman at the University of Wisconsin, following in the footsteps of her mother, Nicki, and sister, Bobbi. A two-time Wisconsin Division I State Champion, Izzi has also caddied for her father during his 2023 Senior PGA Championship victory.

Brady Duval (Age 18)

Duval, son of David Duval, is a freshman at Coastal Carolina University. He has notable junior golf victories, including the 2022 AJGA Showcase in Las Vegas and the IJGT Elite Series #1 in 2023. Brady shot a course-record-tying 61 at Bishops Gate Golf Academy in Florida. He has been competing in the PNC Championship since 2020, with a runner-up finish in 2023.

Matthew Faldo (Age 40)

Faldo, son of Sir Nick Faldo, serves as the Director of Events at the Faldo Series, a global junior golf tour. He has participated in the PNC Championship since 2021, aiming to improve upon previous performances alongside his father.

Jacob Immelman (Age 19)

Immelman, son of Trevor Immelman, is making his debut in the 2024 PNC Championship. A collegiate golfer at Clemson University, Jacob has shown promise, nearly achieving a hole-in-one during the 2022 Masters Par 3 Contest.

Sean Lehman (Age 20)

Lehman, son of Tom Lehman, is a redshirt athlete at Cal Poly University, participating in both golf and football. He has caddied for his father during events like the 2019 3M Open and has been competing in the PNC Championship since 2020, with multiple top-five finishes.

Luke Leonard (Age 18)

Luke Leonard, son of Justin Leonard, is committed to Villanova University. He has participated in pre-qualifying for PGA Tour events, showcasing his ambition to advance in competitive golf. The Leonards have been improving their standings in the PNC Championship, aiming for higher finishes each year.

Shaun O'Meara (Age 34)

O'Meara, son of Mark O'Meara, is making his 18th appearance in the PNC Championship, although they have never won or finished runner-up in the event.

Greg Price (Age 30)

Price, son of Hall of Famer Nick Price, has been a regular in the PNC Championship since 2021. While the Prices have yet to crack the top 15, Greg has steadily improved his game, and he often adds a relaxed and spirited energy to the event.

Daniel Trevino (Age 25)

Trevino, grandson of golf legend Lee Trevino, has been a PNC Championship participant since 2020. He co-founded SUPER MEX Golf Apparel, a brand that celebrates his grandfather’s legacy. Daniel's best finish in the tournament is T13 in 2022.

Alexander Hall (Age Unknown)

Hall, grandson of Gary Player, is making his debut in the PNC Championship in 2024. Not much is publicly known about Alexander's golf background, but his connection to the nine-time major champion Gary Player adds intrigue to his participation.

Hunter Hannemann (Age 16)

Hannemann, the stepson of 1992 Masters champion Fred Couples, is also making his first appearance in the PNC Championship. This is a new chapter for Fred Couples, who is participating in the event for the first time alongside Hunter. Hunter is a rising talent and is expected to showcase his skills on this grand stage.
