Salinas Valley Amateur- Vivolo, Duffy winners
SALINAS, Calif. (Oct 24. 2010) -- Chad Vivolo of Carmel, survived a two hole playoff against Dino Giacomazzi of Seaside, to take the Salinas Valley Amateur. The two were tied at 139. Vivolo, a senior at Cal Berkeley, was four strokes back from Giacomazzi starting the day and shot a solid 70 on the blustery rainy day at Salinas Fairways to force the playoff. Vivolo won with a birdie. Missing the playoff by one stroke was Jack Mulroy with a 140.
The senior flight was won by Neil Duffy with a score of 142. John Enright took second with a 143.

Individual Stroke Play. The field will consist of the
following
flights: Championship (Black Tees); Senior
Gross (55 and over - Blue Tees); Super-Senior Gross
(65 and over – White Tees);
and one or more Net Flights. Women competing in
Championship Flight
will play from the Black tees and play from the Red
tees in the Net Flights.
