Madigan Beats Pros and Amateurs at Sun Country Players

ALBUQUERQUE, NM. (August 9th, 2010) --After a stellar performance last week at the USGA Amateur qualifier, Tim Madigan of Rio Rancho, NM, won again, playing the best amateurs and professionals of the region at Isleta Eagle Golf Club. Madigan finished strong with a second round 5-under score of 66 completing the two day championship with a total of 133, 9-under par.
Chris Thomas, a professional out of Santa Teresa Country Club, finished second with a round of 67 today, totaling a two day score of 137, 5-under par.
David Littlewood and Larry Siefkes tied for a first place finish in the net division with a net two day total of 136.
