Clara Ding goes wire-to-wire at Women's Orlando International Amateur
Clara Ding was the lone golfer to finish under par en route to winning the 2025 Women's Orlando International Amateur Championship at Mission Inn Resort, the El Campeon Course, and the Las Colinas Course at Howey In The Hills, Fla.
The teenage sensation carded rounds of 70-68-74 to finish at 3-under and win by three shots.
In round one at El Campeon, she recorded six birdies and four bogeys to take a one-shot lead. Then, in round two at Las Colinas, Ding recorded four birdies and one bogey to extend her lead.
Sofia Cherif Essakali finished in solo second place at 2-over, Nobelle Park, Kylee Choi and Rayee Fang finished T3 at 3-over to round out the top five.
Ding won the 2024 Ralph Lauren Junior Classic, finished T12 at the 2023 Citrus Golf Trail Invitational, T3 at the 2024 Citrus Golf Trail Invitational, and T22 at the 2024 Canadian Women's Amateur.

annual golf tournament gathering high-level
amateur
golfers from the United States of America and
abroad. 54-hole stroke play
championship, playing 18 holes per day.
Open to low-handicap amateurs, players who play
college golf, players who have qualified for any of
the
current year's USGA or R&A championships, and
those who have the recommendation of their
country’s Federation or Association.
