CHARDON, OH (September 27, 2016) -- With scores of 68-72-67--209 Damian Rhodes and Jeff O'Brien have won the 3rd Egg Invitational at The Mayfield Sand Ridge Club. The winning duo had a pair of under-par rounds that propelled them to a 9-under finish.
Two teams --first round leaders Jim Krivanek and Brian Smith; Tim Skufca and Kevin Rowe-- finished 8-under and in second place. Krivanek and Smith came into the final day 8-under but shot an even-par 72 in the last round.
The duo of Skufca and Rowe shot an Egg Invitational record 6-under 66 during Monday's first round to move into a tie for second after the 36-hole opening day.
Steve Putinski and Phil Bojc finished fourth at 7-under while Chad Bolt and Jon Furrow were 6-under in fifth.
Defending champions Jeff Mallette and TJ Brudzinski finished eight-strokes back at even-par.

The Egg
The Egg Invitational is a two-day 54 hole scratch
Four-Ball event. 36 Holes are slated for the first day
of competition with a shotgun start and 18 holes of
play on the final day. The Egg aims to bring together
players from the nation’s finest facilities for two
days of great golf and camaraderie.
