Cameron Tankersley stays consistent to secure Patriot All-America title

Cameron Tankersley started strong and stayed consistent to win the 2024 Patriot All-America Invitational at The Wigwam Gold Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.

The Ole Miss junior and Tennessee native carded rounds of 65-66-69 to get to 10-under and win by three shots. This is his tenth top-ten finish and fifth top-five finish of the year. He is ranked No. 46 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.

Tankersley joins solid company, as Ian Gilligan of Florida won the event last season. He went on to win the 2024 Western Amateur and secure a top-20 finish on the PGA Tour at the Shriners Open.

Tankersley made the All-Freshman team in the SEC in 2022-23.

Ryan Voois of Illinois, Keaton Vo of North Carolina, Zach Pollo of Arizona, Mesa Falleur of New Mexico, and Tianyi Xiong of Arizona all finished T2 at 7-under.

Noah Kent of Iowa, Gaven Lane of Oklahoma State, Matthew Kress of Florida, Greyson Leach of Oregon, and Justin Biwer of Colorado all finished T7 at 6-under. Kent finished runner-up at the 2024 U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine Golf Club.

ABOUT THE Patriot All-America

The Wigwam and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), in partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation present the Patriot All- America Invitational. It's one of the most unique events in all of golf.

84 top collegiate players named to the PING All- America team in NCAA Division I,II and III, NAIA and NJCAA, AJGA, one player from each military academy and select international players compete in a 54- hole championship.

Each player honors our military by carrying a bag with the name, rank and service of a fallen or severely wounded soldier embroidered on the pocket. Following the championship, the bags go to the players’ school for auction, with proceeds benefiting the Folds of Honor.
