Crichton wins East of Scotland in playoff
FIFE, Scotland (June 30, 2013) — Both Scott Crichton and Jamie Savage shot four-round, one-over par totals of 285. One player had to be crowned champion.

Crichton came out on top, winning in a playoff to take the East of Scotland Open Championship.

Crichton fired a final round 67 to get into the playoff while Savage shot even-par 71.

Both Crichton and Savage finished two strokes ahead of first-round leader Scott Stewart-Cation, who shot 65 in the opening round only to go seven-over par his next 54 holes to finish third.

The Competition will be played over 72 holes of stroke play, with the first 36 holes played on day one, and the 40 leading competitors and all those tying for 40th place playing a further 36 holes stroke play on day two.
