The tour-inspired TaylorMade R15 Hybrid
TaylorMade has packed 15 years of ground-
breaking technologies into their R-Series metal
woods and their new
R15 hybrids are the latest
extension of the company's flagship product line.
The R15 hybrids are smaller than the previous
generation of TaylorMade hybrids and are more
neutrally weighted. The tour-inspired shape and
smaller footprint will appeal to more highly-skilled
players.
A 3-degree loft sleeve lets you adjust the club's
loft conditions easily. The standard setting along
with the centrally-located center of gravity
promotes a neutral ball flight. These hybrids also
have a shallow Speed Pocket, similar in design to
the SLDR, which helps improve ball speed even
on shots that don't find the center of the face.
The R15 hybrids ($219.99) come in lofts of 17,
19, 21 and 24 degrees. Fujikura’s Speeder 77
Evolution shaft (X, S, R and M flexes) comes
stock. A separate TP version retails for $289.99
with Fujikura’s Speeder 869 Evolution Tour Spec
shaft.
