Where are the Top Women's College Commits headed in the fall?

College recruiting is now an arms race. With talent spread out to every corner of the world, coaches have to create pipelines and scour each continent to build a team that can compete and clinch a spot at La Costa at the end of the season.
The Class of 2025 is a great example of the wealth of talent in the women’s game.
We used the Junior Golf Scoreboard to select the following ten recruits. One name is missing from that list: Rianne Malixi, the U.S. Women’s Amateur and U.S. Girls’ Junior Amateur champion. She will attend Duke University and make up the strongest class of this recruiting phase alongside Avery McCrery.
Here are the top-ten players in the Class of 2025 and where they plan to play their college golf.
Avery McCrery - Wilmington, Delaware
Commit: Duke University
Avery McCrery is a two-time Rolex Junior All-American. In 2024, she won the Scott Roberston Memorial and the PGA Junior Championship and finished fifth in the AJGA Tournament of Champions. She holds the competitive course record at Baywood Greens after shooting a 65 in the Deleware High School State Championship. She was the individual champion and helped her Tower Hills team win the team title.
Scarlett Schremmer - Birmingham, Alabama
Commit: Texas A&M
Schremmer headlines an incredible class for the Aggies. Coach Gerrod Chadwell has three players on this list.
A member of the USGA National Junior Golf Team, Schremmer was the 2023 Alabama Junior Amateur champion. She dominated the field with a score of 12-under par. She also won the 2024 Dye Invitational and has a steady record with multiple top-five results, including a runner-up finishes in The Nelly, LNGA Junior Amateur Championship, and the AJGA Tournament of Champions. Schremmer also advanced to the round of 16 at the 75th U.S. Girls Junior Championship and the 124th U.S. Women's Amateur.
Elizabeth Rudisill - Charlotte, North Carolina
Commit: Vanderbilt
The 2024 Rolex Girls Junior Champion, Rudisill had a solid summer. She recorded a tenth-place finish in the Scott Robertson Memorial and a runner-up finish in the PGA Junior Championship with a strong 67 in the final round. She is a multi-time AJGA winner and a three time selection to the Rolex All-American team. She also made the cut in the FM Global Championship at TPC Boston this summer.
Arianna Lau - Hong Kong
Commit: Northwestern
Lau has played the majority of her competitive golf in China and is a member of the Hong Kong National Team. She defended her title in the the Asia-Pacific Golf Federation Junior Championship this year with rounds of 68-65-68. She did find success in the United States, too. She won the IMG World Junior and has experience in national championships; she reached the Round of 32 in the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship and finished seventh in the Canadian Women’s Amateur.
Brynn Kort - Henderson, Nevada
Commit: Texas A&M
Kort recorded seven top-ten finishes over the last year, including runner-ups in the Dustin Johnson World Junior and the Justin Thomas Junior Championship (she won that event in 2022), along with a fourth place in the Kathy Whitworth. She also reached the Round of 16 in the U.S. Girls’ Junior. In Nevade, Kort has helped Coronado High School win three straight team title. She won the individual title in 2022 and finished fourth in 2023. She was recently named an Honorable Mention selection for the Rolex All-American team.
Natalie Yen - West Linn, Oregon
Commit: Texas A&M
Yen is a top-ten machine. In her ten events recognized by Junior Golf Scoreboar this year she recorded nine top-ten finishes. She won the AJGA ANNIKA Invitational - her first AJGA title. Her solid year earned her a spot on the Junior Solheim Cup and she qualified for the U.S. Women’s Four-Ball where she teamed up with Asia Young to reach the Round of 32. She is a two-time Rolex Junior All-American.
Kacey Ly - Temple City, California
Commit: UCLA
In April, Ly won the AJGA Junior at Copper Valley in a playoff and also finished fourth in the AJGA Girls’ Junior Championship. She notched four top-five finishes in AJGA events in 2024 and qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur; she did not reach match play.
Teemapat Pateetin - Samut Prakan, Thailand
Commit: Colorado
Teemapat Pateetin has enjoyed success this year on the Thai Junior Golfer Guardian Association circuit. She claimed medalist honors at the 2024 TJGGA Open Championship at the Dynasty Golf & Country Club in February. Pateetin also played in the Mazda AJGA Thailand Junior Championsip and tied for fourth. A 20th place at the 31st Singha Thailand Ladies Amateur Open is another highlight. She had her best rounds of golf this past July with back-to-back rounds of 66 to win the TGA-Singha Junior Golf Ranking Match #2 at the Uniland Golf & Resort. Pateetin was the medalist and helped the Samut Prakan women's golf team to a win at the National Youth Games Region 1 Qualifier to Nationals at the Treasure Hill Golf and Country Club in early November.
Madison Messimer - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Commit: University of Tennessee
Messimer has been the best junior girl in South Carolina for the last couple of years. She is the two-time Beth Daniel Player of the Year (2022 and 2023). A victory in the 2022 SC Women’s Amateur put her on the radar. In 2024, she finished 12th in the Dustin Johnson World Championship, second in the Scott Robertson Memorial, and fourth in the Junior PGA Championship. She reached the Round of 32 in the 2024 U.S. Junior Amateur before losing to Gianna Clemente. Messimer is just one of four Tennessee Volunteers to play in the Junior Solheim Cup.
Ryleigh Knaub - Winter Springs, Florida
Commit: LSU
Knaub was named a 2023 Rolex Junior All-American. In 2024, she notched second-place finishes in Dustin Johnson World Junior and the Florida Junior Tour’s Pam McCloskey-Brosnihan.
