I began my golfing journey in 2008, though my participation has been sporadic in past years.
Three years ago, I relocated from Chicago to San Diego, a move that rekindled my passion for the sport, especially with the opportunity to golf year-round. Since my return to golf, I have joined a group of ladies who also aim to improve their game, and we frequently walk 9-hole courses together.
Wanting to walk the course comfortably, I realized my old golf bag was not suited for the task. During a visit to the trendy, brewery-style par 3 course, Loma Club, I noticed that almost all of my fellow golfers had sleek, smaller bags from Sunday Golf.
These bags, designed with features such as tee holders, a cooler pocket, and a rainproof pocket, immediately caught my attention for their optimal organization and convenience.
A little background on the brand: Sunday Golf is a San Diego-based company launched in August 2020 by Ronan Galvin and Casey Mathews. During the golf boom, they jumped at the opportunity to provide the next generation of players with a modern golf bag alternative to showcase their individuality.
The company has gone from a single small bag for 6-8 clubs to a full product line meant for walking the course. We now see Sunday Golf equipment at many courses in San Diego!
Impressed by the design and functionality, I decided to get the El Camino model, which is one of the six different bag options and holds up to 10 clubs.
This bag has proven to be the perfect size for my needs, significantly enhancing my golfing experience. I highly recommend Sunday Golf bags to anyone seeking a practical and stylish solution for their golfing equipment.
