It's no secret that singer Justin
Timberlake loves golf. He's
a 5 handicap player, and
the owner of Mirimichi, a course that is
a model of environmental
consciousness.
The
18-hole course at Mirimichi (a
Native American word meaning "place
of happy retreat") provides over 7,400
yards of championship-level golf.
Players are faced
with deep pit bunkers, elevated greens,
swathes of native grassland, waterfalls,
and meandering creeks. The layout
however is no "walk in the park" - with
a rating of 76.8 and slope of 138 from
the "Black Rock" tees.
A par
35
short course called "Little Mirimichi,"
state of the art learning center, and
practice/short game areas round out
Mirimichi's facilities.
