Patterson/Felps win the Bear Invitational
GEORGETOWN, TX (Oct. 24, 2011) -- The team of Ken Patterson and Jason Felps captured the 2011 Bear Invitational Championship with a 54-hole score of 20-under 196. Justin Honea and partner Mark Greene were four strokes back in second place with a 16-under-par total over the Jack Nicklaus designed Cimarron Hills Golf Club. Bob Sine and Van Leferdink carded 205 (-11) for the three days and place third.
The Bear Invitational is a 54-hole two-man best ball event held at one of the finest new clubs in central Texas. The event is named in honor of Jack Nicklaus, designer of Cimarron Hills.
