Prolo leads amateurgolf.com Bay Regional
BERKELEY, Calif. (Aug. 7, 2010) 69 Kyle Prolo of Benicia, takes a one stroke lead into the final round at the 72nd annual Bay Regional Championship. He is trailed by Scott Hardy of Pleasant Hill, and Chris Moreno-Hunt of Berkeley, who has probably logged more rounds at Tilden Park than the top 10 players combined.
Jim Williams leads the Senior division at 74, while Kevin Smith shot a net 66 to take a four stroke lead over Kevin Logan into the final round.
Two groups of women are also competing, and Cristina Corpus is pacing them at 73. She has a four stroke lead over Lynne Cowan of Davis, who posted 77. To view pairings for Sunday, click on the tournament name at the top of the page and then the "pairings" tab.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
The 2010 Bay Regional will again be contested at 36 holes, with no cut. All players play one round Saturday and the final round on Sunday. The entry fee has been reduced and we expect an extra-strong field this year in this 100 NCGA point event which amateurgolf.com began running in 2006.
