As the Second Stage of PGA Tour Q-School approaches, talented amateurs are gearing up to make a mark in their quest for a tour card. With strong performances in First Stage qualifiers, these players are now one step closer to earning status on the professional circuit.
Here’s a look at the amateurs competing at each Second Stage site, and what’s at stake for the world’s top professional and amateur players.
According to the PGA TOUR website, at Second Stage, medalists (and ties) gain Korn Ferry Tour membership with guaranteed starts in the first eight events of 2025, provided they don’t improve their standing at the Final Stage.
Additionally, the next 10 finishers (and ties) at Second Stage receive conditional membership through the Latin America Swing. At Final Stage, the top five finishers (and ties) secure PGA TOUR cards for 2025, while the next 40 finishers (and ties) receive Korn Ferry Tour status, with guaranteed starts for either the first 12 or eight events, depending on their position.
