Florida Winter Amateur: Gunnar Green goes wire-to-wire for the title

Gunnar Green of Central Alabama CC and Delaney Martin of Abilene Christian University clinched individual titles for men and women at the Florida Winter Amateur played out at Royal St. Cloud Golf Club in FL.
Green secured the title by shooting a total score of 7-under 209, with rounds of 68-69-72, winning by a two-shot margin over Jackson Hiller of Oglethorpe University who finished at 5-under par. Hiller carded rounds of 70-69-72, earning a runner-up finish in the tournament.
Just last week, Green underwent heart surgery, which he asserts has been successfully addressed, as he announced on his Instagram page.
Sam Brown of George Mason and Shawn Coultoff, a Florida State commit, shot matching total scores of 4-under par for T3 finish.
In the women's section, Delaney Martin, a senior at Abilene Christian University, clinched the title in a playoff against Hannah Hall of Viera High School. Martin carded rounds of 70-69-73 to match Hall's 71-69-72, resulting in a total score of 4-under par that led them to the playoff. Ultimately, Martin emerged victorious on the second extra hole.
Morgan Beaulieu of Arkansas State shot 71-70-74 to finish solo third at 1-under 215.

College TOUR X at Royal St. Cloud
CTX championships are three-day, 54-hole stroke play
events with no cut. Open to Male and Female college
golfers who are currently on an active roster, and to
junior golfers who have completed their sophomore
year and meet the entry criteria. World Amateur Golf
Ranking (WAGR) points awarded, live hole-by-hole
scoring. Golf carts are included in the entry but not
required.
