Mason Rudolph Championship: Macnab wins individual title, Vanderbilt wins team title

Caitlyn Macnab, a junior golfer at the University of Mississippi, shot 69-67-68 to register a win by a two-stroke margin with her total score of 12-under 204. Casey Weidenfeld of Auburn and Tillie Claggett of Vanderbilt trailed as runners-up, finishing at 10-under. The tournament was played at Vanderbilt Legends Club-North Club in Franklin, TN.
Macnab, a recent transfer from Texas Christian University and a winner on the Sunshine Ladies Tour, a pro tour in South Africa, entered the final round two strokes behind her teammate Andrea Lignell and shot a flawless 4-under 68 to win the tournament by two-strokes becoming the 31st golfer In Ole Miss program history to secure an individual title.
In contrast, Lignell, the overnight leader, struggled in the final round, posting a 4-over 76, which resulted in a tied-9th finish with a total score of 6-under.
The Johannesburg, South Africa, native's tournament consisted of shooting all three rounds under par (69-67-68), ranking No. 2 in the field for birdies with 17 and par-3 scoring on the week.
Her last round was bogey-free as she tallied four birdies and 14 pars to slide into the top spot of the individual leaderboard.
In the team competition, Ole Miss, consisting of Caitlyn Macnab, Justine Fournand, Natacha Husted, Andrea Lignell, and Sophie Linder, registered their second top-five finish of the year with a three-round total of 11-under.
Team Vanderbilt secured victory with impressive rounds of 280-278-282, finishing at 24-under 840. Auburn closely followed suit with scores of 274-282-287, coming in at 21-under.
