Moses Greene wins 96th Oakland City Championship

OAKLAND, CA (April 29, 2018) - Moses Greene of Hayward won the 96th Oakland City Golf Championship on Sunday, prevailing in a three-way playoff at Lake Chabot Golf Course.
The 16-year-old was four shots behind first round leader Brendan Choe of Orinda after an opening round 74, but caught Choe with a 71 that put both players at 1-over 145. Tony Ralph of Sunnyvale joined the playoff with rounds of 72-73.
Alex Barclay of Pleasanton finished one shot out of the playoff, in fourth place at 2-over 146.
2013 Oakland City champion Evan Dunbrack of San Jose had the low round of the tournament, a 68 that gave him a fifth-place finish at 148, tied with Kevin O'Brien of San Francisco and Howard Oliver of Oakland.
