Lloyd Fisher wins Moot Thomas Senior by One Shot

OCALA, FL (March 5, 2017) -- On the strength of a 68 in Saturday's second round Lloyd Fisher has won the Moot Thomas Senior Memorial hosted by Ocala Golf Club. Fisher closed with a 71 after posting a first round 72 to fire a 211 54-hole tally that was good enough for a one shot victory.
Roger W. W. Dean (71-72-69=212) finished as the runner-up, James Starnes (70-72-72=214) was third while Brian Brown (71-74-74=219) and Robert Palmer (76-73-70=219) shared fourth.
In the Super Senior Division Rob Hess (67-74-74=215) claimed the title by a shot over Robert Cunningham (75-70-71=216) and in the Legends Division it was Jim Carley (71-70-67-=208) running away with a nine shot victory over Edward Craig (73-72-72=217).

of
age or older. Super Senior division must be 65 or
older,
Legends division must be 70 years or older, and
Super Legends must be 75 years or older. The
tournament honors Moot Thomas, an Ocala native
and
FSGA Hall of Famer who had a lengthy and
successful
amateur career.
