Hathcoat, Rappleye Capture Antioch City Four-Ball

ANTIOCH, Calif. (November 6, 2016) - St. Mary's teammates Blake Hathcoat and Hunter Rappleye captured the Antioch City Four-ball Sunday with a sizzling final-round 60.
This was the 2nd round of 60 in a row for the pair which gave them a six-shot margin of victory over another St. Mary's pair, Perry Cohen and Evan Peterson. Cohen and Peterson shot a final-round 64 led by Cohen's own 66. Brett Viboch and Bobby Bucey tied for third after consecutive 65's with Mikey Slesinski and Max Ferrari.
ROUND ONE STORY
St. Mary's teammates Blake Hathcoat and Hunter Rappleye lead the Antioch City Four-ball after an opening round 60 at Lone Tree Golf Course.
Hathcoat, a freshman for the Gaels, posted a 65 on his own ball while Rappleye shot a 66. The pair currently leads another pair of St. Mary's teammates in Perry Cohen and Evan Peterson. Cohen and Peterson put together a 62 in the opening round and will be paired with their teammates in today's final round. Also in the hunt are this year's NCGA Four-ball champions Bobby Bucey and Brett Viboch who opened with a 65.
The senior division is led by the pair of Steve Wilson and Bob Olds with an opening 66. Jim Knoll and Tom O'Grady trail by one while Mark Miller and Dan Bieber sit just two shots shy in what will be an exciting finish this afternoon.
