LOCH LLOYD, MO (July 26, 2016) -- It was a fantastic week for the amateurs at the Prairie Invitational, but no one enjoyed it more than winner Kayla Eckelkamp. The Washington, MO resident finished even-par at The Country Club at Loch Lloyd and won by a stroke.

Eckelkamp put together rounds of 74-70 to finish on top of the leaderboard. In Tuesday's final round Eckelkamp birdied three holes and bogeyed just one. Her birdies came on the 8th, 10th and 14th holes.

Eckelkamp was able to overcome a four-hole stretch on Monday where she bogeyed for consecutive holes.

Overall eight amateurs finished in the top-10, including four in the top-5.

Amateur Anna Maria Pool finished tied for second with professional Kristen Samp at 1-over while amateurs Jean Tyrrell and Susan Kirschenman were 4-over to tie for fourth.
