A former U.S. Senior Amateur medalist and his playing partner win by two at the Capital City Club Invitational
ATLANTA, Ga. (Sept. 12, 2014) — Bill Leonard and Ken Benson took home the trophy on Thursday at the Capital City Club Invitational.
Playing best-ball, the pair shot 70-67-68 to win the event by two shots.
Leonard, a former medalist at the U.S. Senior Amateur, and Benson were co-leaders after the first round with Rocky Costa and Robbie Dew before they fell back into a tie for fourth place by Thursday's completion.
