Wyoming Amateur: Garner tops Allen in playoff with eagle
GREEN RIVER, Wy. (July 6, 2014) -- Andrew Garner eagled the first playoff hole to win the 92nd annual Wyoming Amateur Championship at Rolling Green Country Club.
Garner finished the 54 holes of stroke play tied atop the leaderboard with Karmin Allen before converting for an eagle and the crown.
Allen shot 68-67-67 to force the playoff, matching an equally-impressive run from Garner (64-69-69).
Jordan Costello took third, shooting 69-65-69 while Zach Waxler, John Murdock IV, P.J. Thomas, Austin Hirchey and Quinton Pope all finished at 5-under 208 and tied for fourth place.
