Miller/Watson: 12 Birdies in a row at Antioch Master-Sr
ANITOCH, Calif. (April 7, 2014) -- Mark Miller and partner Scott Watson reeled off 10 straight birdies to cap a first-round 60 and never looked back at the 2014 Anitoch Master-Senior Best Ball at Lone Tree Golf Course.
Watson and Miller would go on to birdie their first two holes in Sunday's second round, making it 12 straight birdies, which resulted in a three-shot victory over Ryan Sloane and Ralph Costanzo.
Costanzo and Sloane shot 66-65 to make things interesting in the second round.
Russell Humphrey and Randy Haag shot 65-68 to finish third ahead of Jim Knoll and Jamie Looper (69-65).
Dan Bieber and Eddie Davis shot 70-67 to round out the Top 5.
