Amy is 19 and a junior at North Dakota State majoring in accounting. The highlight of a stellar junior career was a win at the U.S. Junior Girls in 2009.
In her freshman year of college she won five tournaments and broke several school records including lowest 18, 36 and 54 hole rounds and lowest scoring average.
After winning 11 college tournaments in her sophomore year she qualified for the NCAA Div. 1 championship as an individual where she finished tied for twelfth.
She won the NCAA Elite 88 award given to student athletes with the highest GPA with a 4.0.
Last summer she was medalist at the U.S. Women's Open qualifier beating out 34 players including seven pros. After the first round of the Open she was tied for second. She made the cut and finished up in 63rd place.
She made the second round of match play at the U.S. Women's Amateur.
