Tiffany Lua is the only returning member of the victorious 2010 USA Curtis Cup Team. She had a 1-2-0 record at the 2010 Match at Essex County Club, teaming with Jennifer Johnson for a 3-and-2 foursomes (alternate-shot) victory over Sally Watson and Rachel Jennings.

Lua has competed in more than 20 USGA championships, including three U.S. Women’s Opens, and has reached the semifinals at the Women’s Amateur (2009) and the Women’s Amateur Public Links (2008, 2011). In 2011, she also advanced to the round of 16 at the Women’s Amateur.

Lua is a junior at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she is majoring in psychology. She finished in a tie for fourth place to help UCLA claim the 2011 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship.

In 2010, she won her first collegiate tournament, the Landfall Traditions. Lua was named to the NGCA’s All-America second team and the Pacific-10 Conference’s first team in 2010 and 2011.
