Porteous takes lead at Scottish Open
DUMFRIES, Scotland (June 1, 2013) — The only player to shoot consecutive rounds in the 60s is the man leading the Scottish Open Stroke Play Championship after two rounds.
Garrick Porteous trailed first-round leader Nathan Kimsey by one, but took advantage of Kimsey's second-round 77 to take the lead heading into the final day after firing even-par 69.
Richard O'Donovan — who, like Porteous, shot 68 on Friday — is alone in second place after a one-over par 70 on Saturday.
Porteous has played the par 5s beautifully, going four under over the course of 36 holes, including an eagle on the final hole of Saturday's round.
