Nebraska Four-Ball: Fehr/Cordes win
BELLEVUE, Neb. (April 22, 2013) -- Adam Cordes of Bellevue and Brian Fehr of LaVista held on to win the 12th Nebraska Four-Ball Championship Sunday at Platteview Country Club.
The pair began play with a one shot cushion over two other teams including Sunday fellow competitors Ryan Knispel and Ryan Nietfeldt, both of Omaha. Knispel and Nietfeldt bogeyed their final hole to finish 2nd.
Dane Steube of York and Erik Lemke of Omaha were crowned champions of the Net Division. Winners of gross flights besides Cordes and Fehr (championship) include Cole Grandfield, Omaha and John Sutko, Omaha (1st Flight); Will Andersen, Dakota City and Mitch Holgate, Homer (2nd Flight) and Tad Leistico, Omaha and John Engel, Omaha (3rd Flight).
