Granite Bay Four-Ball: Hoffman/Humphrey, O'Malley/Costanzo win titles
GRANITE BAY, Calif. (March 19, 2013) -- Jeff Hoffman and Russell Humphrey prevailed with a 7-under total for the 36-hole event at Granite Bay Golf Club.
The winners topped runners-up Dave Swanson and Craig Miyamoto by three shots. Jon Peterson and Gary DeBlaquiere were alone in third place.
In the Senior Division, Greg O'Malley and Ralph Costanzo birdied the third hole of a sudden-death playoff to prevail over Craig Gandy and Tom Scarlett after both teams finished regulation play at 1-under, 141.
Mark Miller and Tony McBroom were third just one shot back.
In its second year of competition, the event grew from 20 to 23 teams.
