PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (March 2, 2013) -- Crowded leaderboards were the story of the day at the 2013 amateurgolf.com Monterey County Four-Ball at Pacific Grove Golf Links.

In the championship division, three teams are tied for the lead at 6-under 64. The teams at the top of the leaderboard are Casey Boyns and Bill Moore, Kyle John and Drew Nelson and the brother combination of Chris and Stephen Griggs of Sacramento.

Bob Fleming and Jay Guerin shot 63 and lead the senior division. They lead a pair of teams in contention two shots back.

The shot of the day came from Pleasant Hill resident and Contra Costa Country Club member Dale Bouguennec, who had his 5th career hole in one (4th in competition) on the 1st hole. His 8 iron, from 148 yards, went in the hole without any of his group being able to see whether it went in.

"We knew it was close, but couldn't tell," he said following the round.

Play continues tomorrow with the final round of action.
