Kim wins SCGA Sr. Tournament of Club Champs
INDIO, Calif. (Dec. 3, 2012) -- The 5th SCGA Senior Tournament of Club Champions also took place Monday, as Jung Kim of Antelope Valley CC mastered the Bermuda Dunes CC course for a 4-under par 68, besting the rest of the competition by three strokes or more. Kim recorded four birdies and no bogeys in his round.
Coming in second was 2007 SCGA Senior Amateur Champion Rich Tolly, who finished at 1-under par 71. Taking third place was a foursome of Larry Grant, two-time SCGA Senior Player of the Year Howie Knodt, Tom Sullivan and Keith Gulla, who all shot a 1-over par 73.
With the victory, Kim earned a spot in the 2013 SCGA Senior Amateur Championship at Virginia CC.

SCGA Senior Tournament of Club Champions
Senior men’s club champions, age 55 and over, are
invited to play in this 18-hole event. The senior club
champion must have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or
below as of the date of registration. They must be an
amateur member in good standing with the SCGA
and a member on the club’s active SCGA roster at
the time they won the championship. This Division
will compete without handicaps. Senior men’s club
champions with a Handicap Index of 5.5 and above
will play in the net divisions. Senior men’s club
champions that have not reached their 55th birthday
by the date of the championship are not eligible for
this Division.
