Collegiate Players: Keener, Donahoe take first round lead

EULESSl, Texas (Aug. 7, 2012) -- After the opening round of the Collegiate Players National Championship, two players are tied at the top of the leaderboard. Jimmy Keener of San Antonio, TX and Curtis Donahoe of League City, TX both fired 3-under-par 67’s on the Texas Star Golf Course.
Brad Mason of Dallas, TX shot a 68 and sits in third place. Stanton Tondre of Castroville, TX is in fourth at 69 and Will Dusenbury of League City, TX is in fifth with an even-par 70.
In the women’s flight McCandren Lewis of Guthrie, OK and Karson Bizzell Oklahoma City, OK are tied for the lead with 5-over-par 76’s. Kelsey Haynie of Lake Charles, LA is alone in third at 77.
This was the first of four rounds. Play continues until Friday.
