Ellen Port takes Missouri Women's Amateur
OLATHE, Mo. (July 13, 2012) -- Ellen Port birdied the 18th all three days, the final one getting her into a playoff for a chance to win her eighth Missouri Women's Amateur title. Catherine Dolan, Port's closest competitor had the tournament nearly won, but a double bogey on No. 17 brought her even with Port. Dolan also made birdie on the last hole, but was unable to take down Port, losing on the second hole of sudden death.
