Muse in front at Mississippi Greenville Invitational
GREENVILLE, MS (June 23, 2012) -- The first round of the 2012 Greenville Invitational proved to be a hot one both in temperature and scores. Hugh Muse came out blazing shooting five under his front nine, and followed it up with an even back nine to finish with a five under par 67. Muse leads the Championship Division by three shots from Brother Sandifer who shot a two under par 70.
Kevin Bement and Billy McWilliams lead the First Flight by one having both shot a four over 76. Second Flight is lead by Bill Hood and Scott Jonely after both shooting 80 today, they have a one shot lead going into tomorrow.
The Third Flight is lead by James Glorioso and Anse McLaurin with a pair of 84’s giving them a two shot lead.
The Super Senior division has Jimmy Wilson in the lead having shot a one under 71 today; he is closely followed by Bobo Catoe who shot a 73 today.
Competition should be fierce tomorrow with the First and Second Flights having only four shots separating 1st and 12th place and perfect conditions forecasted.

ABOUT THE
Greenville Invitational
The tournament is scheduled for 36-holes of stroke
play. There will be two divisions. The Regular
division
and a Super Senior division (age 60 and older). The
Super Senior Division will play from forward tees.
Each
division will be flighted after 18 holes of play. Open
to
all male amateur golfers.
