Anderson leads Nebraska Women's State Amateur
KEARNEY, Neb. (June 12, 2012) -- The Second round of the Nebraska Women's Championship was completed today with McKayla Anderson of Fremont leading with a two-day total 150. Anderson, a McNeese State golfer, fired off a two over par 74 matching Kayla Knopik, former Husker golfer, of Papillion for the low round of the day. Defending champion Knopik has a two-day total of 151.
Sophie Peters, Morningside college golfer, is in third place with a two-day total of 157.

Nebraska Women's Amateur
Limited to the first 60 entries. Format is 54 holes of
stroke play with multiple flights. Players must be a
current member of NWAGA, except for Qualified
Juniors. Upon receipt of a Valid Entry, any Qualified
Junior (defined as a member of NJGT and with a
Handicap index of 20.0 or less), may compete in
NWAGA events. Each Player must have an active USGA
Handicap index.
