Mexican National Amateur: Vazquez extends lead
GUADALAJARA, Mexico (June 9, 2010) -- Sebastian Vazquez, representing Mexico, carded a 70 in the third round of the Mexican National Amateur for a 8-under-par total and leads Carlos Ortiz (also of Mexico) by three strokes.
Vasquez is the defending champion.
In the concurrent pairs competition, Vazquez and partner Carlos Ortiz, representing Mexico, continue to hold a commanding lead.
The countries that are represented are Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Venezuela, United States (Texas) and Mexico.
