Three-peat for Paniccia at 85th Fresno City

FRESNO, Calif. (May 28, 2012) -- Danny Paniccia successfully defended his Fresno City title at the Riverside Golf Course finishing at 11-under par 205 carding rounds of 70, 66 and 69.
Paniccia had three birdies and two bogeys in his final round, but the icing on the cake was an eagle three at the 18th that further distanced him from the field. This was his second eagle of the tournament as he had one at the par 4 No. 7 in his second round.
Bryson Dechambeau shot 7-under par 209 (70-70-69) and tied for second place with Michael Weaver (72-67-70.) Dechanbeau made a late round charge with his own eagle at No. 14 and a birdie at 16.
Paul Smith took fourth with a 212 (71-72-69.)
