Society of Seniors Spring Classic: Bodney, Smith, Johnston winners
NAPLES, Fla. (March 21, 2012) -- On the strength of his second-round 70, Mike Bodney of Jacksonville, Fla. took home the 2012 Spring Classic at Twin Eagles GC.
Bodney (72-70-74--216) was two shots better than Michael Occi (73-70-75--218) of Clarksville, Mary.
Dan Burton (75-75-70--220) of Lititz, Penn. and Tim Miller (68-77-75--220) of Venice, Fla. were tied for third.
Ted Smith rolled in the Super Seniors Division, winning by seven shots.
In the Grand Masters Division, Claud Johnston outlasted the field, winning by five shots.
