Jake Higginbottom leads Riversdale Cup by seven

ST. JOHN'S WOOD, Victoria, Australia (Feb. 17, 2012) -- After three rounds at the 103rd playing of the Riversdale Cup, Jake Higginbottom has pulled away from the field and now holds a 7 stroke lead over defending champion Nathan Holman.
Higginbottom, currently ranked 30th in the world, fired a 68 today and paired with yesterday's 68 and his opening round tournament record low 64 stands at 200.
Holman, winner of last month's Masters of the Amateurs, started his day eight strokes behind Higginbottom and in fourth place, shot a 67 today and moved up into 2nd place.
Christopher Brown and Rory Bourke are tied for third at 208. Daniel Nisbet, ranked 8th in the world is at 209 and 5th ranked Cameron Smith is 209.
The fourth and final round will be completed Saturday.
