Michael Weaver wins Palo Alto City with course record 63
PALO ALTO,CALIF. (Oct. 31, 2011) -- At close of day one at the Palo Alto City Championship, Michael Weaver trailed his Cal teammate by a shot. On Sunday, Weaver kicked it into high gear and posted a course record 63 (-9) on the Palo Alto Golf Course and took the championship by 5 strokes.
Nick Thomas was second with scores of 67-69--136 and Sean Dyer was third with rounds of 69-68--137.
Local boy and Cal Freshman, Shotaro Ban, was fourth with scores of 72-68--140.

with
gross and net flights. Open to all men and women
ages
18 and
older. Net flight players must have a current
established
handicap index. The Palo Alto City Championship is
