Long leads South Dakota Mid-Am Championship
SIOUX FALLS, SD. (July 23, 2011) - Chris Long of Garretson shot a 2-under-par 70 on Saturday to take the lead after the first round of the SDGA Men's Mid-Amateur Championship at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls.Long's score was good enough for a one-stroke lead over Brandon Sigmund of Mitchell and Scott Holm of Brookings.
Brian Prisbe of Sioux Falls is fourth at 72, followed by Glen Herrick of Sioux Falls at 73.
The final round begins Sunday at 7;30 a.m. The leaders will begin play at 9:30 a.m.
