Perez Wins Lompoc City In Dramatic Playoff

LOMPOC, CALIF. (Apr. 17, 2011) -- Andrew Perez of Oxnard, Calif. won the Lompoc City Championship on the second hole of sudden death at the challenging La Purisima Golf Club in Lompoc, Calif. Perez, who was tied after regulation with Scott Patterson of Westlake Village, snaked in a 60-foot put to clinch the victory.
This is the fifth win for Perez within a year. His other titles include the Los Angeles City Championship, the Santa Barbara City Championship, the Oxnard City Championship and the Simi Valley City Championship.

Individual 36-hole gross and net stroke play
competition open to all amateur golfers. Limited to
the
first 90 entries. Net competitors must have a valid
USGA handicap. Entry fee includes green fees for
both
days, prize fund and Sunday barbecue.
