Donovan Wins amateurgolf.com Livermore Valley
Livermore, California (Jan 9, 2005) Darryl Donovan played magnificent golf all weekend, in shooting 72-74=146 in the 75 NCGA Point amateurgolf.com Livermore Valley Amateur to win by 4 over Garrett Larson. Larson fired a very respectable score of 150 after his second straight 75. Conditions were extremely tough on the first day, when winds gusted to 40 miles per hour, and although Sunday's second round was cold and rainy for much of the day, players found scoring easier and most went down signicantly.
In the Senior Division, Rob Thompson came out on top, while the solid Mason Gunn won the Net division title.
