Tiger and Charlie Woods will return to the PNC Championship on Dec. 21 to 222 in Orlando, Florida, he confirmed on Tuesday.

“I’m very excited to head back to the PNC Championship next week with Charlie,” Woods said in a statement. “Playing together is something we look forward to, and it’s always more special when you’re surrounded by friends and family.”

Woods withdrew from the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, which benefits his foundation. He's still rehabbing his back following microdecompression surgery in September.

The PNC Championship is a fun event that highlights some of the world's top golfers. Twenty-two-player teams will compete in a 36-hole scramble featuring major champions and family members.

Team Woods have played together every year since 2020, including a runner-up finish at the 2021 event.

Charlie Woods qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur this year and tied for 29th at the Class 1A Florida High School Boys State Championship in November. He also helped The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Fla., to a runner-up finish in the team competition.

John Daly, Nick Faldo, Justin Leonard, Vijay Singh, Lee Trevino, and Padraig Harrington are among those taking part in the PNC Championship with their sons. Nelly Korda will be playing with her father, Petr, who won the 1998 Australian Open.
