Ryley Heath, Lucy Cook take the titles at Pride of the South Amateur

Lucy Cook won the respective titles at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss.
Heath was able to outlast Southern Mississippi signee Jake Moffitt by one shot, while Cook ran away with the title, winning by eight shots.
Heath shot rounds of 69-72-67 to get to 8-under. He made four birdies and no bogeys on the front nine to take the lead from Moffitt, and one birdie on the back nine was enough to hold off Moffitt late.
Moffitt finished 7-under and one shot back of Heath in solo second place. No other golfers finished under par as Richie Reck finished in solo third place at 3-over.
Tucker Gutierrez finished in solo fourth place at 4-over, and Elvis Steen and Hudson Green finished T5 at 7-over.
Cook shot impressively consistent rounds of 74-74-70 to win wire-to-wire at 2-over. Emerson Blair finished in solo second place at 10-over, and Eliza Yelverton finished in solo third place at 21-over.
Heath finished in solo fourth place at the 2024 Spirit of America and T2 at the 2023 Alabama State Amateur. Cook finished T15 at the 2023 Dixie Women's Amateur.

College TOUR X at Old Waverly
CTX championships are three-day, 54-hole stroke play
events with no cut. Open to Male and Female college
golfers who are currently on an active roster, and to
junior golfers who have completed their sophomore
year and meet the entry criteria. World Amateur Golf
Ranking (WAGR) points awarded, live hole-by-hole
scoring. Golf carts are included in the entry but not
required.
