The Junior Invitational, recognized by Golfweek as the top junior event in golf, is now playing at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, South Carolina.
First played in 2011, the Junior Invitational has become one of the most desired invitations in the world of competitive junior golf. Since its founding in 2011, the event has featured 54 of the top junior boys and included girls for the first time in 2022. Under the new format, 36 boys and 24 girls will be competing at the same time.
This will mark the third year of the 24-player girls' competition, captured in 2023 by 2022 Augusta National Women's Amateur champion Anna Davis. This year’s field includes Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings No. 1 Gianna Clemente of Estero, Fla., the 2023 Girls Junior PGA Champion, who is competing in her third Junior Invitational; Helen Briem of Germany, the 2024 Portuguese International Ladies Amateur Champion and 2023 R&A Girls Amateur Champion; 2023 Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Champion Eila Galitsky of Thailand; among others.
