Christo Lamprecht holds the top spot in PGA Tour U (GT Athletics)
The PGA Tour University is slowly reaching a fever pitch as players vie for spots that will set them in the professional circuit.
Christo Lamprecht and Michael Thorbjornsen seem like the two golfers with a chance at earning the top spot and a PGA Tour card. However, the bottom of the top ten has plenty of talent and players bouncing in and out. Top-ten finishes and wins are incredibly valuable in the next two months.
Here is a brief rundown of what players get for their final position at the end of the season:

Lamprecht is currently ranked No. 5 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.
No. 1: Christo Lamprecht - Georgia Tech
Lamprecht reached the No. 1 spot last week and maintained his hold on the top spot this week. On Tuesday, he finished T9 in the Lampkin Invitational. A T2 finish in the Watersound Invitational is what helped Lamprecht leapfrog Michael Thorbjornsen. His other start this spring was a T14 in the Amer Ari Intercollegiate. The South African
No. 2: Michael Thorbjornsen - Stanford
After missing the entire fall season for Stanford, Thorbjornsen is rounding into form. He won the Cabo Collegiate with a 6-under 65 in the final round. He has steadily improved his results since returning to golf. He finished 71 in the Amer Ari Intercollegiate and 17 in the Prestige.
No. 3: Nick Gabrelcik - University of North Florida
Gabrelcik maintained his third spot, but he's far off from the top two. A win in the Gator Invitational was his first win since 2022. He's had an excellent spring, finishing in the top eight in all three events.
No. 4: Matthew Riedel - Vanderbilt
Riedel has made a bit of a move up the rankings in the last month. He was No. 6 last month. Cracking the top five is vital, as there are more professional opportunities. This spring he has a 30th place finish in the Cabo Collegiate and 14th in the Watersound Invitational.
No. 5: Austin Greaser - University of North Carolina
The former U.S. Amateur runner-up and Western Amateur champion has been hovering around the fifth spot. Last week he was fourth, and now he's back in fifth. UNC has played two events this spring, and Greaser hasn't been able to crack the top 15 in either of them. He finished T19 in the Amer Ari Intercollegiate and T29 in the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
No. 6: William Moll - Vanderbilt
Moll is fresh off a seventh place in the Cabo Collegiate, which was a nice bounce back from a T45 in the Watersound Invitational. The Cabo performance was Moll's second top ten of his senior year.
No. 7: Cole Sherwood - Vanderbilt
When we did this update last month, Sherwood was 10th. He's the biggest mover. The farther he can get from the tenth spot the better, as the drop in exemptions is noticeable. A T5 in the Watersound Invitational was a big help in his upward momentum. He finished 14th in the Cabo Collegiate this week.
No. 8: Maxwell Moldovan - Ohio State
The Ohio native has been hovering in the No. 7-9 spot for the last month. He's been consistent in his three spring events. He finished in 22nd place twice (Southwestern Invitational and Watersound Invitational) and 26th in the Puerto Rico Classic.
No. 9: Dylan Menante - University of North Carolina
The UNC star has teed it up twice this spring. Last month he was in the No. 8 position. A disappointing 62nd-place finish in the Southern Highlands Collegiate was balanced out by a seventh-place finish in the Amer Ari Intercollegiate.
No. 10: Ben Lorenz - Oklahoma
Lorenz has been creeping up the rankings this spring. Last month he was No. 13, and now he's in the key No. 10 spot. He won his last start in the fall at the Clerico and then kicked off his spring with a third place in the Puerto Rico Classic. His most recent start was a 34th place in the Southern Highlands.
