The 79th edition of the U.S. Women’s Open will be held from May 30 to June 2, 2024, at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The USGA has announced a list of 26 local qualifying venues, conducted over 36 holes across the United States and in Canada, Japan, and Germany from April 15 to May 14.
Returning to Lancaster Country Club for the second time since hosting it in 2015, the women’s major event will carry a prize fund of over 12 million dollars, marking an increase of 8 million dollars since it was last played at Lancaster.
The record-breaking purse is made possible, in part, by a new multi-year, multi-million-dollar partnership with Ally Financial Inc., the nation's largest digital-only bank and a leader in women's sports, as stated by the USGA. This arrangement also designates Ally as the championship’s presenting partner.
