Even though he had to sit on the lead for an extra day, it did not affect
Harrison Endycott in his journey to a PGA Tour card in the PGA Tour Q-School's Final Stage at Dye's Valley Course and Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Endycott finished the four-round tournament at 15-under, four shots clear of Trace Crowe, who finished at 11-under. Endycott shot rounds of 65-68-65-67 to pull away from the field.
In the final round, Endycott was as solid as he was the rest of the week, recording five birdies and two bogeys.
Blaine Hale Jr., finished in solo third place at 9-under. He double-bogeyed No. 18 to fall from T2 with Crowe to fall to solo third place.
Raul Pereda finished in T4 with Hayden Springer, and since five golfers earn their PGA Tour cards, these are the five that get the honor.
Pereda and Springer finished at 8-under, both shooting final rounds of 1-under 69 to best Satoshi Kodaira, who was the first golfer to finish outside of the card cut, finishing in solo sixth place and one shot back of fifth place at 7-under.
Pereda shot rounds of 70-67-66-69, and Springer shot rounds of 66-69-68-69.
A chip-in for birdie on the par-3 No. 14 for Pereda helped propel him into the top five. Pereda becomes the only active PGA Tour player of Mexican descent to finish in the top-five at Q-School's Final Stage.
2017 U.S. Amateur Champion Doc Redman, Patrick Cover, and Danny Walker all finished T7 at 6-under.
